* amazon refuses to provide answers as to why AFOE was “suppressed” on German and US sites … they should be ashamed

AFOE (no swastika) & Lew

***

Received from amazon today …

I’m unable to provide specific information about the suppressions. The only information I’ve received from the Content Validation’s team is the one related to the swastika as the suppression reasons for October and March for the paperback.

Regarding the Kindle edition, I’m unable to get information from them about any suppression. In terms of the Content Guidelines, we have them in our site: https://www.createspace.com/Help/Rights/ContentGuidelines.jsp. However, we are unable to provide specific information about the possible rejections if you have questions, you can reach the Content Validation team for this.

I understand about the notifications and I’ve submitted feedback about it. I’m unable to get more information as to why it wasn’t sent.

My response …

I appreciate your efforts but you must realize that your answers are both inadequate and insulting. You suppressed my new novel for months and you provide no reasons or explanation. I think amazon should be ashamed. I will take this further.

This has been terrible, especiallysince they didn’t notifiy you and they won’t explain their reasons. Did anyone at Amazon even read the book before censoring it? Were there any complaints? Is there anything your readers can do to help you? The least Amazon can do is provide some very heavy, free promotions in not only the German language market but in the other markets as well.
